If it were true....you'd feel great!

I had an experience the other day when someone very near & dear to my heart made the comment, "I am not good enough". Sadly far, FAR too many feel & even believe this lie. During a heart-to-heart with her, I made a comment along these lines, "Think about something for a minute....If that statement was true, you would feel completely at peace inside, maybe even joyful! The very fact that you do not & in fact feel pretty crumby, is telling you something."

This experience reminded me of an experience years ago with my own daughter. One day my daughter ran into my room in tears. After holding her for a minute, she was able to tell me that one of of her brothers had made a reactionary comment, "You are a bad girl". Even her telling me this made her tear up all over again. (And me to!)

I held her sweet little face in my hands & first I affirmed that she was absolutely a good girl. I told her in terms a young child would understand, that sometimes people say things they don't mean. Sometimes they don't even realize how they made us feel as they are reacting to things in their own experience. There are lots of reasons someone may say something hurtful. I told her that I did not know why her brothers had said that & it was not okay. I then told her there was one thing that I wanted her to understand here. If it were true, you would feel good right now. I asked her, how she felt (although it was very clear). She teared up again & told me she felt bad. I looked her in her eyes & simply said....."Then what he said is not true."

She looked at me for a moment. Then her whole countenance changed. She wiped her tears & simply said "Okay", giving me one of those make-your-heart-smile grins. I gave her one more hug & she was skipping off to play with her brothers again.

She had clearly not had this understanding of her emotions. How many of us do? But even at her very young age, something clicked within her little being. As she gained a level of understanding about this aspect of her energetic nature, her emotions, she was able to see the reality of a truth & of a lie, & in that, act accordingly. She just innately knew she did not have to hold onto a lie. If it wasn't true, it held no presidence for her.

What about those that have more of a connection to these non-truths that bring so much suffering & struggle to their lives; such as the near & dear I spoke about earlier, clearly connected to the belief "I am not good enough"? How do we become free of this? In exactly the same way.

This is why Energy Therapy, as I practice it, is so beautifully blessing lives. By simply having an accurate understanding of our energetic nature, (this includes the energetic nature of our beliefs & their emotional results) we see our experience for what it is. In doing so, we learn to work or move in harmony with this dynamic aspect of who we are & what we have been given. Resulting in freedom from false beliefs, clearing of limiting patterns & even past trauma. But more, we also learn to how to create more connected & fulfilling relationships, how to have more peace & clarity in our lives & how to live the lives of joy we are so perfectly created to.

So what can we learn here to help us in our current life experiences? This brings to light a very simple, very pure & very innate process we are given to live the gift of our own life, whatever our specific circumstances maybe......

#1- Your emotions & feelings are telling you something. Listen.
#2- These are innate gifts give to know truth for yourself. Acknowledge it.
& #3 - You now have a choice. Choose it.

Your emotions are gifts. As you come to understand this truly beautiful aspect of your energetic nature more fully, you will learn to move in much more harmony with this "music" & have more peace & joy in your life. Its amazing what unfolds as we simply acknowledge the truth of the gifts before us.

"Why did I say that!"

Have you ever been in a situation with maybe an employer, someone you look up to, or some other individual & you look back later, after the interaction & say, "WHY did I act like that!", "Why did I say that!", "Why didn't I just stop talking!" or something to that effect? Well, I have a little added insight for you.

The other day I had my own experience with this & I was very aware it had been a recurring pattern for me. I had previously taken care of some energetic childhood residue around it & as a natural process of progression, the other night I became consciously aware of something that I needed to acknowledge within myself.

(Just an added note here, having first taken care of the "gunk" that makes it difficult sometimes for us to acknowledge & feel truth about ourselves, makes this much easier by the way! It lays the ground work, so when presented with truth, we can see, feel & embrace it more freely & fully.)

It just so happened, a friend was talking to me about this same thing in regards to a training call with a member of management & how she was so worried about how she sounded & how she behaved. I was able to share my experience with her.

A little background - this gal clearly gives a 110% in all that she does at work! And I have seen first hand that the employer knows & immensely value's this. Here is some of what I shared with her. (I go into a little more added detail here, just to illustrate the actual process I experienced.)

"Just remember that your worth & value as a part of this company is not in question. I think that is SO clear! You do such a beautiful job & work so hard. I know that everyone sees that.

I have realized that for me, when I have worried like this, it comes down to my having an issue presenting about wanting approval. Basically because I don't think I have it, or because I believe it is in question, or needs to be affirmed at some level. (I realize that it does, but not from others!) Then, its like we unconsciously do "over's".

That's why looking back, we go, "What?! Why was I like that!"

We unconsciously over compensate for our own perceived lack or belief in our "disapproval" & actually make it more prominent! (Though most of time it is realistically only ourselves judging our behavior.)

I went on to share with her....

So, the other night when I was having issues with this coming up for me, I did some Energy Work to take care of what I needed to, clearing up some false beliefs presenting - for just that purpose of course.

I was feeling better, but I knew there was something more I was needing to acknowledge here. After taking care of what I was given to take care of, I was very prayerful about being able to see truth here. I knew that Heavenly Father could see much more clearly than I could - especially in my over tired state! Then, I went to bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night with the thought ...."Your worth lies not in what you do or have. Your worth lies in who & what you are."

Absolutely beautiful. And it is true. Cognitively we know that right? But, we also need to feel it.

I realize that we have these experiences so that we can re-affirm these truths within ourselves, & on a "feeling" level. (Acknowledging for yourself, the truth that your are valued, even by this company, because 1st, who you are & 2nd for the work that you do that expresses who you are, brings so much peace....even an inner joy. Even if all we can do is be willing to believe this is true, we will feel the first fruits of a growing inner peace & edification, telling us it is true.)

It's really beautiful how simply being a place of truth within ourselves, also helps things in our "outer" lives to work out really beautiful to."

She wrote me later & shared how this was exactly what she needed to hear. (I always feel so honored to realize that my experiences of growth & progression can benefit another!)

Just remember that who you are is enough. In fact, it is immensely beautiful! And when you acknowledge & feel this within your own being, others around you do as well. The things you do will then even express this beautiful "music".... & do so effortlessly!

A very fulfilling & rewarding way to live your life! Something so many look for & try to make happen. If only they knew it was as natural & innate within them as their own heart beat....
Great news is, they can!

Create something beautiful!

It is innate within every human being to create. And to want to create. To create something beautiful brings us joy. It is very much living an innate truth of who & what we are to do so.

I love an address given in 2008 by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Second Counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, entitled, "Happiness, Your Heritage." He says about this innate desire to create:

"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before....Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty...."

"....to what end were we created? We were created with the express purpose and potential of experiencing a fullness of joy. Our birthright—and the purpose of our great voyage on this earth—is to seek and experience eternal happiness. One of the ways we find this is by creating things."

So what does this mean in our lives, with the further understanding we are being given in this fieldof Energy Work? How can this directly apply to us in our day to day experiences?

As I have come to understand more about my innate nature & how I work, I choose to honor that innate desire to create something beautiful by choosing opportunities, projects & hobbies that support me & allow me to move in & express my innate movement.

For example, in my having a Type 2 (Oxygen/water) dominant expression in my innate make-up, I like things that involve attention to detail. I also enjoy things that allow me to share & give of my heart & to connect with others in this way. Just one of these things I have created in this, is this very blog! I get to write about the details of some of my experiences, while sharing & giving of my heart to support others in this gift of understanding & living more fully their own innate beauty. It is very fulfilling & brings me & others joy.

Another example, is gardening. I love to be out in the dirt, planting, weeding, watering & caring for the plants & trees in my yard. This is also very grounding & "connecting" for me.

I have come to learn that "creating something beautiful" is truly an act of cultivation. Simply acknowledging & embracing what we've already been given, giving what we can & doing what we've been given to do, to allow the natural potential & innate beauty of these gifts already before us, to naturally come forward & into fruition.

In this, I consider my greatest creation & the one that brings me the most joy, is the gift I have been given to be a wife & a mom. What could be more beautiful than creating a marriage, a family life & a foundation for my children that not only brings me joy, but my spouse & my children now & as they grow? Nothing can or does compare to this.

In my own home, I like to use what I have been given to create an environment of connection, comfort & peace. And with alot of the Type 1 movement in my loved ones, things can get kind of crazy around here sometimes, but we do have alot of fun! One of the biggest gifts I have been given is to understand my husband & little ones ALOT more. And in that, to honor, even celebrate their innate movements, so that I move in much more harmony with them. That way we create together an environment that supports us all.

As a parent, maybe even especially as a mom within the home, the responsibility & the beautiful influence we have to create harmony, truly is ours. In a very literal way, it begins with us. And it is just so great to have the understanding & the resources to support us in this!

Here's another quote from this address:

"If you are a mother (or father), you participate with God in His work of creation—not only by providing physical bodies for your children but also by teaching and nurturing them. If you are not a mother (or father) now, the creative talents you develop will prepare you for that day, in this life or the next.

....we all have talents and gifts, every one of us. The bounds of creativity extend far beyond the limits of a canvas or a sheet of paper and do not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Creation means bringing into existence something that did not exist before—colorful gardens, harmonious homes, family memories, flowing laughter."

I think one of the most confirming insights I have gained from my experiences in this Energy Work field, including with Calyco Healing, Energy Profiling & Dressing Your Truth, is that we create by our very presence. To think that we have such a beautiful influence by just being who we are, is pretty revealing about our truth!

I grasped this most clearly by using music as an analogy. Music has a way of creating an environment & atmosphere. It has its own way to uplift & to energize (a Type 1 movement), to calm, to comfort & connect us to our hearts (a Type 2 movement), to motivate us to get in action & get things done (a Type 3 movement), & it also has a way to bring a still & reflective reverie into our experience (a Type 4 movement).

This is the same with our own "innate music". As we come to recognize & embrace our innate movement or "music", we learn to create something beautiful, even by just being who we are. Then the "doings" can innately follow from this inspired place of truth, offering & contributing what only we can.

Here is one last quote from this same article:

"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create. That is your opportunity in this life and your destiny in the life to come. Sisters, (& Brothers) trust and rely on the Spirit. As you take the normal opportunities of your daily life and create something of beauty and helpfulness, you improve not only the world around you but also the world within you."

That really sums it up so clearly. We use what we've been given, how we are innately created & intended to, as we follow the truth given & shown to us in our hearts. Our hearts know truth. They know beauty & they guide us therein. Enjoy creating something beautiful!
